Dental Crowns & Bridges, Winnipeg Dentist

Fill Gaps & Repair Damage

Crowns and bridges are both restorative dental treatments that can be used to help return the normal function and appearance of your smile. They can fill the space left by missing teeth and can also help to prevent facial collapse and maintain the natural contour of your jawline.

By repairing structural problems such as damaged or missing teeth using a dental crown or bridge, our dentists can alter the appearance of your smile – and help to preserve your oral health.

Custom-made crowns and bridges from LifeSmiles Dental are matched to the shape and colour of your existing teeth to provide you with a smile that looks natural and helps to improve your ability to chew effectively and speak clearly.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a hollow, artificial tooth that is placed over an entire tooth that is decayed or damaged to restore its original shape, size and colour. Dental crowns help strengthen and change the appearance of a broken tooth that may otherwise be lost.

Crowns are strong and can be made from a variety of materials, including porcelain and metal. They look and function like natural teeth, and if cared for properly, can last 10 years or more.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a natural-looking restoration that 'bridges' a gap left by missing teeth in your mouth. Made up of one or more artificial teeth, the bridge is affixed to the teeth or dental implants on either side of the gap to fill the space.

A bridge can be an effective way to prevent your other teeth from shifting out of position to fill the space. This is important because empty spaces in your mouth can lead to more serious dental issues, including gum disease.
