Technologies at Our Dental Clinic

The technology available to us in our dental clinic aids in treatment planning and helps ensure that your dental appointments run smoothly. Our technology also allows us to accurately diagnose dental issues at an early stage, increasing the chances of successful treatment.

Dental technology also allows us to effectively communicate with you about your dental health. For example, we can display digital X-rays and scans on the monitors in our treatment rooms to help you visualize any issues that may be present in your mouth.

Our goal is to provide patients with dental care while also ensuring that they are fully informed about their oral health. Dental technology assists us in this endeavour.

Intraoral Scanners

Intraoral scanners generate digital dental impressions as an alternative to traditional dental impressions, which can be messy and time-consuming. In minutes, your dentist will take a digital image of your teeth using an optical scanning wand. This device allows your dentist to collect accurate data to create digital replicas of your mouth's hard and soft tissues. We offer this technology at our Grant Park Mall Location.

Digital X-Rays

Instead of traditional photographic X-ray film, digital X-rays use digital sensors. They generate highly detailed computer images of teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions, allowing your dentist to examine parts of your mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-rays allow your dentist to create a single image of your entire mouth. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and the nasal and sinus structures. Panoramic X-rays are frequently used to aid in the planning of treatments for extractions and implants.
