STATE-OF-THE-ART DIGITAL X-RAYS

LifeSmiles Dental uses the latest in state-of-the-art techniques to ensure your health and safety, including Digital Radiography, also called a Digital X-Ray, to take pictures inside your mouth. This method of taking X-rays is done instantly via a computerized X-ray system. Unlike conventional X-rays, you no longer have to bite down and hold still on rigid film plates. Now we simply position a tiny digital sensor inside your mouth and take the picture.

DIGITAL 3D TECHNOLOGY

Our goal is to provide you with the best, most accurate and thorough diagnosis possible. Fortunately, recent technological breakthroughs have made it possible for us to make major advances in achieving that goal. Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) (“dental cone beam” or “cone beam”) is a new technology that is similar to CAT scans, in that it will give us a 360 degree, 3 dimensional view of the area we are examining.

INTRAORAL CAMERA

At LifeSmiles Dental we have a piece of equipment to help you better understand your dental health. It's called the intraoral camera, and it is really just a tiny video camera that looks like a pen. It connects to our computer system and links to the TV in the ceiling above you. The main advantage of the intraoral camera is that we can show you what condition your teeth are in, or what we are doing to your teeth.
